The ET’s almost mistook Computers for Earth’s dominant life form.
Because of our dependence on Computers, the ET’s still have doubts about
us. With Computers we ushered in yet another revolution – the informational
revolution. We are not yet halfway through this transformation.
And these are just the linear/serial Computers. We have yet to see
the marvels of parallel processing Computers. Industrialized societies
could not survive without Computers. They give us instant communications,
accessible information, and data storage. Will they remain our tools
and toys? Or become our peers, symbionts, or masters?
